It's Not My Fault

Pictures
Angelique, these pictures are just perfect. Where did they all come from? My husband subscribed to an on-line photo place for his website and newsletter, and there were some great ones, but I didn't see anything this beautiful.
Thanks for explaining how to edit. And I'm sorry I didn't get more recipes posted. These last two days have been crazy and I haven't been able to spend as much time here as I usually do.

Recipes from our different threads

Shish-Kabobs
Originally posted in Introverts Offshore by Sunny on 5/26/09
I made shish-kabobs this weekend with a wonderful but simple marinade:
3/4 c. soy sauce
3 Tbsp minced garlic
1/2 bundle chopped grn onions
fresh ginger to taste
I marinated 4 cut up chicken breasts overnight and the kabobs were delish!!! I also added to the kabobs some cut up grn peppers and red onions tossed in Extra Light olive oil, sea salt and pepper. YUM!
I sliced up some zuchinni and prepared it the same as the other veggies, but put it in foil pouches to cook. It was good, but a bit mushy/overcooked, so next time I'll take it off sooner, or put it directly on the grill--small upper rack, maybe.
And, a couple of drink recipes of Terri's posted by Angelique on 6/19

Martini
1 shot chambord
1 shot pineapple juice
1 shot vodka
Champagne
Add chambord, pineapple juice and vodka to a flute glass, then fill with Champagne. Toast and enjoy!
----------
Plymouth Martini 75

1 oz. Plymouth gin
1 oz. lemon juice
2 bar spoons simple syrup
Top with champagne (or sparkling wine)
Shake Plymouth gin, lemon juice and simple sugar with ice and strain into a chilled champagne flute. Top with champagne and garnish with a lemon twist.

In the closet??
Hi there, my name is JayLee and I'm an introvert.....Okay so there really isn't a introvert's anonymous but sometimes I think that there should be. Maybe the greeting should be, I have to pretend to be an extrovert for work.
In alot of ways, myself and my friends here have created one. I've done some work in substance abuse and they say that no one can understand what recovery is really like until they have been there themselves. Being an introvert is kind of like that. You don't really understand what it's like unless you are one. Now that doesn't mean to say that there aren't times we can't (or at least I can't) pull a good imitation of a extrovert out.
I have come to think of myself as a closet introvert, at least at work. Every day, I walk out the house, and spend the drive giving myself a pep talk. My job requires extroverted tendencies for training, presentations, meeting with supervisors or external reviewers. I like nothing more when it's just me and the documentation and the processes and tests. But alas, they never leave me to that part of my job for long.
There are some of the people I know that swear I couldn't possibly be an introvert. I guess I really am a good actress after all. The on-line environment however, wow, now there is a haven. I can interact or not all I want and talk to people all I want all with out really interacting or talking to anyone at all. I mean really, typing this blog, I'm curled up on the couch with some earl gray tea (hot of course) watching my favorite crime drama.
Is there any better life then that? Well, maybe if I were on a beach front with a drink and good diving but that is a wish for another time.....

Technology eludes me
So here I am swilling beer and I get an email to view a blog. Problem is there aint no blog to read. If there is, It's beyond my ability to find it, so maybe someone can show me how.
Anyway if this blog starts, then what about the topix thing? Are only true innies invited here? What happened to PEellen or whatever? did she take her toys and leave? That would be a shame, but we have lost some dear people along the way.
I hope you keep the topix blog, puts a public face on things, and does allow the occasional wandering innie a place of respite.
Well more later after more beer.
